Branar - Creating Big Stories for Little Citzens

SCHOOL BOOKINGS OPEN SOON

Don’t miss out on the number one event for schools during Galway’s year as European Capital of Culture 2020.

Sruth na Teanga is an immersive theatre adventure, designed specifically for school groups, to engage in the story of the Irish Language in a new, other-worldly experience. Your class will weave through 5 immersive rooms, with cinematic-levels of details, coming across puppetry, music, storytelling, state-of-the-art digital video mapping and live performance. They will join the Irish Language on its journey in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

Branar have had the opportunity to meet over 200,000 children across the world since it was established in 2001. Now it’s the turn of your class. We invite you to wander through the woodlands with the Fianna, see the creation of the Book of Kells with the monks, delve underground as the language is suppressed after the Flight of the Earls and be amazed by the library of the future. Don’t miss it.
